- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Good place to hike for the whole family! There is a small parking lot off of Highway 50. There were a few open spaces--but that might only have been due to the very cold temperature that day. I could see how this would be a popular place to hike, ride your fat-tire mountain bike or go snow-shoeing. I recommend printing out a map of the trails or taking a photo of the trail map posted at the entrance. You'll need it to navigate the many junctions where the trails meet up. There are a lot of trails so make sure you pack some snacks and dress appropriately for the weather.By Daniel Nurgitz, March 18, 2017
